AECO Innovation Lab is pleased to welcome Calytera Software Inc. (Calytera) as an official supporter of the One Ontario initiative.

Calytera applauds the initiative as it will benefit all communities by removing silos and significantly help in savings of time and money. By establishing a standard for data exchange, all technology providers will have equal opportunities to service municipalities and the Province.

For more than 30 years, Calytera (previously CSDC Systems Inc.) has provided systems to government agencies in North America. Their AMANDA suite of software applications provides flexible automated permitting and licensing capabilities at the municipal, regional and provincial/state levels of government. Calytera currently services more than 350 government agencies, including 33 medium and large municipalities of which 25 are represented by the Large Municipalities Chief Building Officials (LMCBO) in their home province of Ontario.

Having worked with many government jurisdictions for three decades, Calytera has first-hand knowledge of best practices that have allowed others to successfully implement integrated development approval solutions. They find a huge value in the One Ontario Program as it is a comprehensive solution that is informed by the latest research and will put Ontario on par with other jurisdictions leading this area. They also believe the initiative will be of benefit to all stakeholders and ensure a competitive open market.
