TORONTO, Ontario, January 13th, 2021

AECO Innovation Lab is very pleased to welcome the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) to the One Ontario coalition as a supporting organization.

OHBA believes that One Ontario will bring significant value to the residential construction sector and bring more housing choice and supply to communities across Ontario.

OHBA is the voice of the building, land development and professional renovation industry in Ontario, representing 4,000 member companies. They aim to be a strong, unified, proactive industry advocate; their primary goal is to positively impact provincial legislative, regulatory and tax policies that affect the industry, and support more housing choice and supply across Ontario. OHBA supports the One Ontario program as they agree that a unified data exchange framework will help achieve this goal.

OHBA has been advocating for building permit and development approvals streamlining for many years, including a move to a digital platform across Ontario. They believe that the innovation from the One Ontario initiative will bring significant value to the residential constructions sector and support their mission to bring more housing choice and supply to communities across Ontario.
