Large Municipalities Chief Building Officials group joins One Ontario coalition

AECO Innovation Lab is very pleased to officially welcome the Large Municipalities Chief Building Officials (LMCBO) group as supporters of the collaborative One Ontario initiative to streamline the development application approval process in Ontario.
The LMCBO group encourages innovation and believes that the One Ontario initiative will result in faster construction, and bring significant value to their members.
AECO Innovation Lab is very pleased to officially welcome the Large Municipalities Chief Building Officials(LMCBO) group as supporters of the collaborative One Ontario initiative to streamline the development application approval process in Ontario.
LMCBO has been a strong advocate of building regulatory reform since its inception in 1990. The group is composed of chief building officials from Ontario municipalities with populations greater than 50,000. It currently includes 40 municipalities, which represent approximately 80 per cent of Ontario's economic activity.
LMCBO addresses the regulatory issues confronting large municipalities and promotes high performance and uniformity across the province. The group encourages innovation and believes that the One Ontario initiative will result in faster construction, and bring significant value to their members.

One Ontario is a collaborative initiative established by AECO Innovation Lab, with the aim of establishing a set of provincial guidelines for data and information exchange throughout the development approval process.
